Auguster / Hadley Kennary / Becca Roth
Auguster, a project of Berklee student and singer-songwriter Jimmy Marino, has been grasping the attention of listeners in the Boston area ever since forming earlier this year. Critics have compared the seven-piece band’s debut album, A Change of Scene, to artists such as Ben Howard of Imagine Dragons, the Foo Fighters, and Glen Hansard. Auguster combines passionate storytelling, relatable lyrics, gritty vocals, and polished pop-rock instrumentation to illustrate the emotional tension in the material and to deliver powerful, memorable music.
Berklee student Hadley Kennary has released a self-titled EP and a full-length album. Inspired by the world around her, Kennary’s music mixes the honesty of Sara Bareilles, the mellow cleverness of Ingrid Michaelson, and harmonies reminiscent of the Indigo Girls.
Becca Roth presents a blend of folk-inspired honest lyrics and memorable pop melodies. The Berklee student performs with bandmates Dag Hanken, Mike Caprarola, Marco Marcel, and Yusuke Sato. In October 2012, Roth released her debut EP, Work In Progress, along with an official music video.
