EVENT: 28th Annual COLOR IN THE CAGE Performance Showcase, a Fundraiser for the Amherst Survival Center'

TIME: 2pm; doors open at 1:30pm
LOCATION: Curry Hicks Cage Gymnasium, UMass Amherst campus
DIRECTOR: Frederick Omega Pye, Color Guard director, is in his seventh year as Assistant Band Director/Visual Coordinator for the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band.

DESCRIPTION: Performances by Minuteman Marching Band Fall Color Guard members and Featured Twirlers. Presentations by UMass, local High Schools and Collegiate Guards, Dancers, Cheerleaders, Drum Majors and Baton Twirlers, and the new Marching Color Guard Techniques class. Rifles, Flags, Sabres, Mace, Dance and Props are a major focus. Color in the Cage provides a non-competitive, supportive environment and a training ground for future Fall Color Guard Field Staff, and Guard and Baton Twirling instructors.
TICKETS: Tickets at the door: $5 Adults, $3 Students (with ID) & Children; $1 off with canned good donation; UMass Marching Band members FREE with a canned good or donation
