Sunday Brunch with Tag Vennard

Raised in Westford, Mass, Tag taught himself to play guitar and piano. He spent most of his youth in a rock and roll band but now plays a mellow new age style solo piano. Tag believes peaceful music is therapeutic and he aims to calm your soul with his playing. Tag also writes and performs whimsical folk pop songs with his wife Karen.They often perform at the Acoustic Cafe Open Mic in Groton Mass.

Wide Open Spaces

Wide Open Spaces lives up to their name by playing "bluegrass without borders." Combining the traditional sounds of fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass with modern song-writing, jazzy - rock edged arrangements and uber-tight 3 part harmonies, they take audiences on a musical joy ride that have some people saying "I can't believe that's bluegrass!" Anything can happen - and usually does.

The OGD Jazz Trio

For this month the OGD Jazz Trio becomes the GD duo with the addition of 2 special guests. The GD duo consists of OGD regulars Joe Lis on Drums and Mike Caruso on Guitar. Charles Recchia will be on electric bass and Tom Phelan will perform on the Vibraphone. So get your Latin and funk grooves on and come down to listen to the quartet play a mix of originals, blues, funk, jazz infused classic rock, latin jazz and jazz standards.

The Matt Boland Trio

"The Matt Boland Trio is a Boston-based jazz trio playing interpretations of traditional, contemporary and Latin jazz standards in a guitar, acoustic bass and drums format with a hint of early Bill Evans traditionalism. MBT is a new trio, with Jack Morash on Drums, David Sakurai on acoustic bass and Matt Boland on electric and acoustic guitars. They've been performing to the delight of audiences all over Massachusetts at local venues, events and weddings.
