"Public Domain" Jazz Composers Collective Quintet

Public Domain is a Jazz Composer's and Musician's collective. Each concert, each player contributes new compositions for the group to explore. The range of styles is wide and eclectic including New Orleans funk, soaring lyrical ballads, panoramic musical landscapes and rhythmic puzzles.

Jazz guitarist and composer Assaf Kehati arrived to the USA in 2007 and after a short time he has made waves in the jazz scene by working with such names as Ziv Ravitz (drums), Donny McCaslin (sax), Seamus Blake (sax) and legendary drummer Billy Hart (Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery) and by performing in such venues as Blue Note, NYC; Regattabar, Boston; Washington DC Jazz Festival; MuzEnergo Jazz Festival, Russia; New England Cable News, MA; Tel Aviv Museum, Israel; Barranquilla Jazz Festival, and Toronto

Diane Cluck & Petaluma Vale

Diane Cluck"s songs have been noted for their “irregular, or even cellular, logic” (Other Music), her singing compared to “the howling bark of an outraged owl or broken coo of a horny dove” (Voodoo-Eros). Her self-taught guitar style, influenced by years of playing classical piano, has been described by The Village Voice as “brilliant” and “idiosyncratic.”

Leah Hennessy and Nick Morrison with talk listen door

Leah Hennessy and Nick Morrison form a duo that effortlessly blends the intimacy of folk, the wails and shouts of gospel, and the sonic stretches of improvised music to create a warm, stripped down sound that is equal parts inviting and haunting.

The two began their collaboration in 2011, investigating how they could tap into a shared love of American vernacular traditions, and contemporary approach to improvisations.

Henley-Douglas RnB (HDRnB)

Henley-Douglas RnB (HDRnB) is led by Henley Douglas Jr. co-founder of The Boston Horns and The Heavy Metal Horns. The band plays vocal and instrumental original soul, funk and jazz. We also play B-Side soul tunes.

HDRnB was the featured band of the month (March) on Sirius XM radio on the "The Loft" with Meg Griffin. The band has been performing through out New England over the past 2 years.
