WICN presents The World Famous HARRY JAMES ORCHESTRA under the direction of FRED RADKE Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 7:30 pm at THE HANOVER THEATER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS with special guests THE PLATTERS.
The Harry James Orchestra has continued the tradition of mellow arrangements and fine rhythmic playing that first made it famous, and is now under the direction of Harry James' lead trumpet virtuoso, Fred Radke.
It is noted that Fred Radke's style of trumpet playing is so similar to Harry James, that listeners often can't tell the difference. He was the first choice to lead The Harry James Orchestra because of his unique talents and broad area of expertise.
