State Environmental Agencies Celebrate Launch of 2023 Growing Wild Season

WHAT:   A special launch event in celebration of the launch of Growing Wild, a joint initiative to promote and preserve pollinators that power the state’s ecosystem.

Leadership from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Department of Agricultural Resources, and the Massachusetts Nursery and Landscape Association will unveil the free Growing Wild starter kits, available free to the public at select nursery partners beginning June 2nd. The complimentary kits feature native plants and other educational resources to help MA residents create pollinator-friendly native plant habitats and boost pollinator populations in their own backyards.

This is the program’s third year where these organizations have worked with local nurseries to distribute free native pollinator starter kits to customers across The Commonwealth.
