Pianist, composer and bandleader Yoko Miwa is a Falmouth Jazz favorite who performs regularly at premier venues worldwide. She has released nine critically-acclaimed albums, including Songs of Joy which reached #1 on jazz radio charts and was voted Best Jazz Album of 2021 in DownBeat’s 86th Annual Readers Poll. Yoko is a professor at the Berklee College of Music. Her performance will kick off the Women Who Lead: A Falmouth Jazz Series, a 2026 concert initiative highlighting women bandleaders and women-featured ensembles. She will be joined by Will Slater on bass and Scott Goulding on drums.
