Rosa Luxemburg is probably best known as a fiery socialist and imprisoned anti-war protester of the early 20th Century. Who knew she was also a passionate lover of nature, especially plants and birds. Tonight on Inquiry we talk with CLAUDIA HORN. She is a lecturer in political economy at the Department of European and International Studies at King’s College London. Her new book reproduces many of the pages of Luxemburg’s plant studies: ROSA LUXEMBURG’S HERBARIUM: RADICAL ECOLOGY AND THE GLOBAL PLANTATION.
