Cruisin’ The Decades is a one-of-a-kind weekly 60-minute radio program broadcasting over 100 years of recorded music, playing one song per decade from the 1920s to the 2020s. Cruisin’ The Decades shines a spotlight on several genres of music while focusing on the history, technology of recording, and evolution of popular music from yesterday to today. The show is about collecting records, listening to the radio, the power of music, geography, and bringing listeners together across vast distances through the enjoyment of music. It’s an audio time machine; a journey through recorded, popular music history!
Cruisin’ The Decades is created and curated by Brad Savage and produced at The Summit in Akron, Ohio, USA. Savage uses his deep knowledge of music, vast experience, and massive music library to put together a show that is as informative and engaging as it is entertaining. The program is heard worldwide on over 35 of the greatest independent/community radio stations anywhere, including AM, FM, Shortwave, and Internet radio stations in the USA, Canada, Germany, and New Zealand.
