Mathis Picard is an internationally renowned pianist, composer, producer and bandleader. Originally from France and Madagascar, now based in New York City, Mathis finds his voice by merging his many musical and cultural backgrounds. He was the youngest-ever finalist at the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition at the age of 10, and later graduated from the Juilliard School. Mathis has shared the stage with such artists as Ron Carter, Lee Ritenour, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride and others.
