March 14 — Paul Broadnax
Paul Broadnax is a Boston Jazz Legend, nominated twice for Boston Music Awards Jazz Singer of the Year and chosen Musician of the Year in 2003 by Boston Musician’s Association. Paul’s love of music and performing began in childhood and blossomed after his time in the Air Force and engineering school when he arranged, recorded and performed with notables including his dear friends Joe Williams and Champ Jones. March 21 — Matt Savage-Erena Terakubo Sextet
Berklee peers Matt Savage (piano) and Erena Terakubo (saxophone) have formed a fabulous sextet that will keep your feet tapping and your hearts dancing. Local Matt is a Brown Bag veteran and has performed virtually everywhere. Erena, born in Sapporo Japan, recorded her first album in 2010 which reached No. 1 on the Japanese jazz charts. In musical circles the name Gerry Beaudoin conjures up images of a guitar virtuoso whose uncanny ability to bridge musical styles ranks him as the premier New England Jazz Guitarist with a history that is long and legendary. April 4 — Dan Moretti
“After several decades of cultivating his sound in every section of the jazz vineyard, Dan Moretti has emerged as a forceful, dynamic player and an outstanding conceptualist.” Dan has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, and India performing as a leader and sideman and has produced 11 internationally released CD’s in the last 15 years.
