This week on “The Public Eye,” Al speaks with Harvard Law Professor Alex Whiting, a contributor to the new book, America Unfinished: 250 Years of Law and Governance. Whiting points out that the United States played a critical role in the establishment of Nuremberg and subsequent war crimes tribunals, even as it refused to join the International Criminal Court. He now worries that the recent attacks on international institutions and aggressive use of force puts the entire project of international criminal justice at risk.
