Address: | Worcester |
Here’s some of what you’ll find at this year’s Downtown Worcester Winter Festival:
Lace up a pair of ice skates and take a spin on the Worcester Common Oval rink, brought to you by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Ice Skating Admission: $6/person; free for kids aged 5 and under; Skate Rental: $6/person
The first 100 Downtown Worcester Winter Festival attendees who donate a canned good or non-perishable food item for Woo Fridge can receive FREE admission for ice skating and a complimentary hot chocolate and cookie courtesy of Brew on the Grid. Just bring your own ice skates or rent a pair at the Oval!
Standing at over 25 feet tall with three lanes for sliding, the Alpine Slide will delight kids and kids at heart this winter. This activity is free and open to all during the festival. (Minimum height requirement: 42 inches without an adult)
Watch icy works of art take shape during live ice carving demonstrations. Remember: Ice sculptures only last as long as the weather allows, so don’t miss your chance to see these limited-time installations during the Winter Festival.
Get creative with free, hands-on arts and crafts for the whole family alongside Panduh Productions and Technocopia.
Meet some of your favorite Worcester team mascots, enjoy a snack from a local food truck or vendor, play custom games created by Technocopia, and more!
The festival itself is just one of the many fun events taking place in Downtown Worcester — you’ll find activities and special offers from businesses all around the neighborhood in honor of “Winter Festival Weekend.” Come out and celebrate with us Downtown all weekend long!
