Octopuses are among the most unusual creatures on our planet. They are invertebrates that are slippery, elusive, and very clever. They can change color and texture. Their arms often seem to act autonomously. They seem to show emotions. On this episode of Inquiry, we speak with DAVID SCHEEL. He is a professor of marine biology at Pacific University who has spent over 25 years researching the behavior and ecology of octopuses. His new book is: MANY THINGS UNDER A ROCK: THE MYSTERIES OF OCTOPUSES.
