WICN’s Annual 12 Days of Giving Fund Drive Kicks off Today with Morning Vibe Time

WICN’s annual 12 Days of Giving Fund Drive kicks off this morning at 6 am with Morning Vibe Time as we celebrate Giving Tuesday, the largest giving day of the year.

For this year’s Giving Tuesday, we will have a $2,500 match for the day. Meaning, that every donation received will be matched up to $2,500.

Your dedication to this station has helped us bring incredible programming to our community—from the annual WICN Holiday Jazz Jam, Jazz + Live, Women’s History Month concert, and Emerging Artist Showcases to our partnership with Mechanics Hall for our historic Brown Bag Concert Series. WICN brought you two new programs this year as well, with Sunday Classical and Crooked Road Songs joining the weekend lineup.

WICN is focused on making crucial upgrades to our physical infrastructure. Phase One includes overhauling our electrical and cable wiring, replacing a key server, and updating several computers. Thanks to the support of our members and local foundations, we will start these upgrades in the new year. In Phase Two, we will work to update our streaming platforms, website, and mobile broadcast needs. These improvements are essential, not only to maintain our day-to-day operations but to secure WICN’s future for generations to come.

In addition to these technical needs, your gift ensures that WICN remains financially resilient. With your help, we’ll continue offering educational opportunities, free concerts, and community events that have inspired countless listeners and supported the donation of over 300 instruments to Worcester Public School students this past year through our Instrumental Partners program.
