Bio:
Steven Picard comes to WICN after almost 3 decades in commercial radio as a host, beat reporter, sports talk host, Music Director, and Program Director. A Massachusetts native, his journey in radio began at 91.7 WMWM while at Salem State, then continued at alternative rock stations WFNX in Boston, Radio 104 in Hartford, and 99.9 The Buzz in Burlington, Vermont. After which he moved across the border to Canada, where he hosted shows and programmed sports talk radio TSN 690 and, most recently, rock station CHOM 97.7 in Montreal. Regardless of the format or market, his primary focus has always been sharing his passion for music and content with local radio audiences.
When he’s not talking music or radio, he’ll gladly engage in a conversation about his love of bread, cheese, wine, pizza, fresh strawberries, tomatoes, Montreal, or the numbers within the numbers in college football and the NFL, just to prove that it’s not all about food.
